Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Images are processed inside your browser using your own device’s processor, so private photos never leave it.

Which formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP everywhere, AVIF in current browsers, and SVG for conversion to PNG. iPhone HEIC photos only open in Safari at the moment.

Will I lose quality?

Converting to JPG or WebP, and compressing, re-save the image with the quality you choose. PNG output and Remove EXIF Data keep every pixel exactly.
