Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Every PDF tool here runs inside your browser, so the file stays on your device from start to finish. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

Is there a limit on file size or number of pages?

There is no fixed limit. Very large documents (hundreds of megabytes) depend on your device’s memory, so a computer handles more than a phone.

Can I edit the text inside a PDF?

Not yet. These tools work with whole pages: combining, splitting, reordering, rotating, converting and stamping. Changing the words on a page needs a full PDF editor.

Do the tools work with password-protected PDFs?

Remove the password in your PDF app first. Protected files can’t be opened without it.
